What the work involves
A new computer arrives configured for the shop, not for you. Setting it up properly means installing the software you actually use, connecting the printers and devices you already own, and making sure the security side is handled before it goes online for real.
It also means bringing your pictures, documents, and music across from the old machine so nothing is stranded on a computer in a cupboard.
This is frequently done remotely. Where the old machine is in bad shape, or hardware needs physically connecting, it is on-site.

We will install all of your software, printers, any other devices and make sure its secured. We can also move your pictures, documents, and music from your old computer.
What it costs
- Residential
- $125 per hour, one hour minimum.
- Business
- $160 per hour, one hour minimum.
- Coming to you
- $35 on-site fee in the local area. There is no on-site fee for work done remotely.
Common questions
- Can you set it up before I even start it?
- Yes. Often it is easier that way. The first-run setup makes decisions that are awkward to unpick afterwards.
- What happens to my old computer?
- Once everything is off it and you have confirmed the new machine has what you need, it is yours to keep, donate, or dispose of. Ask us about wiping it first if it is leaving the house.
