Office network setup that just works

Getting every machine, printer, and phone on the same network, and keeping it that way.

Signs you need this

  • New office, or a move where nothing has been cabled yet
  • Machines that can see the internet but not each other
  • A shared drive or printer that some people can reach and others cannot
  • Internet that drops several times a day with no clear pattern
  • A router the internet provider dropped off and nobody ever configured

What the work involves

A network is mostly invisible until it stops working, and then it is the only thing anyone can talk about. The work is getting the router, switching, cabling, and addressing right the first time so it stays boring.

That usually means sorting out how devices get their addresses, making sure the machines that need to find each other actually can, getting printers and shared drives visible to the right people, and locking down anything that should not be reachable from outside.

Where the cabling and hardware need hands on them, this is on-site work. Configuration and follow-up changes are frequently done remotely.

In short

We'll get your network set up and working, remotely wherever possible and in person when the cabling or hardware needs us there. Complete office setup with wireless, printing, no problem!

Common questions

Do you supply the hardware, or do I buy it?
Either. If you would rather buy your own, tell us what you are trying to do and we will tell you what to get before you spend the money.
Can you work with the router my internet provider gave me?
Usually yes. Provider-supplied equipment varies a lot in what it will let you change, so it is worth a conversation first. Sometimes the honest answer is that replacing it costs less than working around it.
Does this have to be on-site?
The cabling and hardware do. Configuration often does not, and changes after the fact are usually handled remotely.
